I am excited to work with all our students, families, community supporters and staff for a second year. I've been blessed to serve students from 1st to 12th grade as both a teacher and in administrative roles. I am also honored to serve as the principal here at Barack Obama Charter School this year. This is going to be a great year for us and we look forward to seeing our young people rise beyond their greatest expectations.
BOCS is on the way to being a California Distinguished School and we look forward to having you partner with us as we get there. It is only with everyone in our family working together that we will accomplish this goal that will also help us become an award winning organization.
My specialties are working with students with special needs and helping all students reach their full potential and realize the endless possibilities that lie before them with hard work and dedication. Most recently I have worked with Teach For America as one of the leaders of a new teacher training program. When not working with students during the school day I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am also pleased to be a mentor and coach of an award winning step team “TOO TOUGH” that is a part of the Ladies First Organization.
