I experience pure happiness when I am surrounded by children and I love teaching. It has already been such an amazing journey starting my first year with the Barack Obama Charter School family. I am truly honored and excited to be working with the BOCS children, families, staff, and community! This will be my second year serving as an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles. I have dedicated most of my studies in the educational field where I received my BA in Liberal Studies and a minor in Special Education and Elementary Schooling. For two years, I worked as a behavior therapist for children with Autism and volunteered as a teacher's aide in various LAUSD elementary schools. I recently graduated from UCLA's Teacher Education Program and earned my M.Ed with the focus in social justice education. I love eating, taking long naps, painting, singing, dancing, floral arranging, and traveling. I am blessed with a beautiful family and group of professional and talented friends that I love spending time with.
