How to Apply to Barack Obama Charter School Step 1: Fill out the online application (see link below) or download the application, print it out and complete the form. Mail the form to P.O. Box 72028, Los Angeles, CA 90002-0028 or fax the form to (323) 566-1418. Step 2: If the grade level you are requesting for your child is not full, your child will automatically be admitted. If the grade level is full, your child will be placed on a wait list. Parents of wait listed children will be notified as openings become available. Step 3: Within one week of receipt of your child's enrollment application, you will be informed whether or not your child is admitted. You will receive additional enrollment materials in the mail. Please complete and return them as soon as possible. If you delay this process, enrollment of your child could be jeopardized. PLEASE NOTE: Open Enrollment for Fall 2010 BOCS Kindergarten was closed on Wednesday, June 30th at 3:00 pm. The following day, Thursday, July 1st at 10:00 a.m., a public lottery was conducted at the school's administrative office.
